A MOTORIST has complained he has not yet received a refund for using a bus lane which was not clearly marked.
Essex County Council decided earlier this month to repay a £1million of fines issued to people for going up North Hill and for turning from the High Street into Queen Street.
Bus driver David Bowers, of Washington Road, Dovercourt, paid his fine within two hours of receiving it on December 14.
Mr Bowers, 58, used the bus lane which turns from the High Street into Queen Street on December 7.
He feels his £30 fine should have been repaid in the time since the refund announcement was made on January 10.
He said: “I have not had my money back – none of us have got our money back."
