A VICTIM of cyberbullying is leading a campaign to have websites do more to protect their users who suffer abuse.
Tom Bryant, from Harwich, experienced online abuse himself and is now calling for an ‘anti-bullying’ button to be installed across websites including chat rooms and social networking sites.
He is working with national charity Fixers who support young people aged between 16 and 25 to tackle issues which matter to them.
“We can’t have young people taking their own lives because they are being bullied online,” he said.
If you are interested in becoming involved in the project, or would be willing to talk about your experiences, contact Fixers Young Person’s Coordinator, Ellie Kemp, on 07436 265917 or email ellie@fixers.org.uk.
