MAJOR plans for an industrial park at Horsley Cross which could create 600 new jobs have been given the go-ahead.
Outline plans for Tendring Europark on land to the south west of Horsley Cross were approved by Tendring Council on Tuesday night.
The application includes 28,000 sq metres of floorspace for general industry, storage and distribution, and a bus depot.
There will also be a 30m high telecommunications mast which will help to provide superfast broadband across Tendring.
A spokesman for Croland said the company would carry out the build programme over the next 12 months.
