LAND girls, evacuees and even Winston Churchill made an appearance at a primary school for a Second World War inspired history day.
Wix and Wrabness Primary School pupils and teachers dressed up in wartime clothes and learnt about life for people involved in the war last Friday.
The day was part of a wider Second World War project which also saw the children visit the Imperial War Museum at Duxford.
Headteacher Lorraine Oldale said: “The children enjoyed some wartime recipes for lunch and they learnt about aircraft by making their own models."
