ANOTHER free dog microchipping session has been arranged due to demand from owners.
Tendring Council dog warden Allen East will hold the surgery at Dovercourt market on Friday March 7 from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
More than 1,000 dogs have been micro-chipped for free in Tendring over the past year.
Mr East said: “I would just like to remind owners that it will become law in 2016 to have dogs micro-chipped so it is worthwhile to make the most of this opportunity.”
Nick Turner, cabinet member for environment, said: “The surgeries have proved incredibly popular with dog owners and it has far exceeded all our expectations.”
The Dogs Trust has provided the chips at no cost. Bookings for the event is available on a first-come, first-served basis by calling 01255 686766.
