A SHOP owner is furious after Tesco delivery lorries smashed into the side of her historic shop, Creatively Crafty, three times in four weeks.

Jenine Collier is now scared the ongoing damage to the 500-year-old building on the corner of High Street and South Street could mean severe structural problems and even serious injury.

She said delivery lorries have ignored calls to use Stour Street and instead try to turn around a narrow corner from High Street into South Street.

"My biggest fear is they will hit the glass and really hurt someone and destroy this historic building that has stood here for hundreds of years," she said.

A spokesman for Tesco said: "We take saefty very seriously and are investigating the incident."
