Elderly man airlifted to hospital after ladder accident
A MAN in his seventies was airlifted to hospital after he was hit by another man falling off a 20 ft ladder.
The ambulance service dispatched a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance, a paramedic officer and the air ambulance to the scene in Little Oakley just before 11am on Monday.
The elderly man was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with multiple injuries to his head, chest and arm.
He is now in a stable condition.
The man who fell off the ladder was treated at the scene for a minor back injury.
