RESIDENTS in Tendring are set to be handed vouchers to use leisure centres free of charge.
The new scheme will see a voucher given to each of the 70,000 council tax-paying households in the district.
The voucher, which will be dropping through doors next month along with the free parking permit, can be used at any of Tendring Council’s leisure facilities in Clacton, Brightlingsea, Frinton and Walton, Dovercourt, Harwich or Manningtree.
Mick Page, leader of the council, said the aim is to give residents more for their money.
