A TEENAGE Paralympic hopeful had her first taste of the limelight when she competed live on television alongside sporting greats.
Millie Belbin from Queensway, Lawford ran in the T37 60m event, for those with Cerebral Palsy, at the Sainsburys indoor athletics Grand Prix in Birmingham last Sunday.
After limbering up next to Jamaica's 100m Olympic gold sprint star Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, she met other sporting stars including former sprint and hurdle silver medalist Colin Jackson and British pole vaulter Holly Bleasdale.
Mum Jo, said: "Millie presented herself well to the camera and got a great introduction as the 13 year-old youngest ever athlete to compete at this event.
"She got a great start and raced well coming 4th and getting a new personal best of 8.86 seconds."
Millie, who has just recovered from a heart operation to correct an extra electronical pathway in her heart known as Wolff Parkinson White disorder, is a 2016 Rio Paralympic hopeful.
She is also in the running to compete for England at the Commonwealth Games this year in Glasgow.
