A SUPERMARKET giant has submitted plan to install a two pump filling station at their Dovercourt store.
Asda has proposed the installation of the self-service card-only pumps, which will allow four cars to be filled up at the same time, to their site on Main Road. There would be no customer kiosk.
The potential pumps would be installed on the existing staff car park at the front of the store.
A member of staff will be present to advise customers how to use the system, assist during busier times and for general housekeeping.
A spokesman for Asda said the proposals had been put forward because of customer demand associated with a major retailer.
