A MOTHER has stepped into the breach after a family support group closed and set up regular coffee mornings to help families with autistic children.
Kay Stamp, of Dovercourt, has set up the Unified Rainbow Support Facebook group for parents with children on the autistic spectrum.
She hopes parents will use the site to share their experiences, give advice and support each other.
She said: “The page has been created to help parents, carers and families in our local area to join together and share experiences, give friendly advice and support each other through all the good and bad times whilst waiting for appointments and assessments, with long waiting lists."
