BUDDING young poets were given tips from the top when an acclaimed rhymester visited.

Stewart Henderson paid pupils at Spring Meadow a visit on Tuesday and taught them about the importance of words.

His poetry collections include Who Left Grandad At The Chipshop? and All Things Weird and Wonderful.
