CAR parking could be made available to people using Bradfield beach.
After complaints from residents about the access to the land, at the end of Shore Lane in the village, parish councillors, Tendring Council, Natural England and Suffolk Coasts and Heaths met at the site.
They looked at concrete blocks installed in 2012, which were placed to allow pedestrians and horses access, but block vehicles that had been damaging the beach and bank of the River Stour.
The land, which is a habitat for black-tailed godwits, brent geese and shelduck, is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest and Special Protection Area.
Harold Mousley, chairman of Bradfield Parish Council, said: “We are discussing the possibility of parking.
“We are trying to resolve the situation to a reasonable level of happiness for everybody.”
