COMEDY fans are set for a treat this week as a theatre group perform a drole double bill.

The Manifest Theatre in Manningtree will perform two separate plays on their first showing of the new season tonight and tomorrow.

Opening the show is The Real Inspector Hound which tells the story of a murder mystery weekend attended by rival critics with hilarious consequences.

Kate Sheffield, who has been a Manifest member for many years is directing the first half and is hopeful hard work will pay off.

Orca the Goldfish is the second offering from the Manifest with second-time director but long-standing actor Glyn Hill orchestrating proceedings.

This show depicts a couple bored of each other and married life who, unbeknownst to each other, act out their own individual fantasies in front of their long-suffering goldfish Orca. Tickets are selling fast but are available by calling 01206 391309.

Tickets cost £6 for members and £8 for non-members. Refreshments will be served from 7pm and the curtain is raised at 7.30pm.
