A NEW CCTV camera is to be installed at Dovercourt Station as part of a joint venture between two councils.
Harwich Town Council and Tendring Council will be match funding the camera which will replace one which was removed from Harwich Quay.
It was decided it would be moved to the station after it was identified as a site which would benefit from the camera.
The camera will cost £4,781 with £2,261 being paid for Tendring Council and remainder by Harwich Town Council.
