BOOKS came to life when school pupils donned outfits of their favourite characters.
To celebrate World Book Day pupils made bookmarks, took part in photo competitions and even had a special treasure hunt for Where’s Wally.
At Manningtree High School, Year Seven students were given 15-minutes at the beginning of every lesson to read.
Library supervisor Sarah Lane said: “The day was really good. The students dressed up as lots of different characters."
