PEOPLE are being urged to sign a petition to highlight it being two years since a fire let an eyesore building in a disgusting state.

Next Sunday is the anniversary of a blaze which ravaged the top floor flat of 20 Market Street in Harwich.

Last year residents held a birthday party with cake to express their anger at inaction over the site.

This year a stall will be outside the building and Harwich Town Residents Association will be asking people to sign their petition lobbying Tendring Council to take action over the site.
