HUNDREDS of campaigners are set to flood the streets of Harwich in protest to shock maternity closures.
Organisers of the march on Saturday are expecting more than 300 people to turn out.
Mums, dads and grandparents were furious when the town's maternity unit, along with the facility at Clacton Hospital, was closed last Monday.
They now plan to stage a protest march to lobby against the decision.
Residents are urged to meet at Cliff Park in Dovercourt at 10am for a 10.30am march to the Fryatt Hospital in Main Road.
