AN amateur dramatic society is set to perform a comedic take on a murder mystery weekend where the lines are blurred between what is real and what is fake.
The Dovercourt Theatre Group, which is currently in its fortieth year, will be performing Murder Weekend by Bettine Manktelow on April 3, 4 and 5 at 7.30pm at the studio behind the old magistrates’ court accessible via Manor Lane.
As a number of couples retreat for the weekend, hilarity ensues as the group wonder whether the misfortune which befalls them is part of the fun or not.
Theatre group member Greg Potter is part of the technical team for the performance and believes this will be a brilliant show.
“I am really looking forward to it because it has a bit of everything, a murder mystery with some comedy built in and a big twist at the end,” he said.
Tickets are £7 and can be purchased by calling 01255 240626.
