TWO councils could work together to tidy up Ramsey and Parkeston.
At a meeting last Thursday parish councillors quizzed Tendring Council’s cabinet member for environment Nick Turner over the state of the area.
Council chairman George Elmer said Parkeston is the gateway to the UK and visitors getting off the boats and cruise liners must be "appalled" by the state of the village.
A walk around the village to pinpoint problem areas will now be arranged.
