AN Olympian showed pupils how to get fit and gave a rousing assembly on Friday in the name of Sport Relief.
Pupils at Chase Lane Primary School, in Dovercourt, were joined by diver Pete Waterfield, who partnered Tom Daley in the synchronised event at London 2012.
Head of sport, Paul Bertram, said: “It was absolutely brilliant to get Pete in and he did lots of exercises with the children from the nursery all the way up to Year Six.
“We have donated thousands of pounds to Sport Relief, and one child raised £154 alone."
