PLANS to build a solar farm on 63-acres of land at Burnt Ash Farm would have benefits to the community according to developers.
Kinetica Solar wants to place 53,800 panels on the site on Spinnels Lane and have sent newsletters to all residents who are close to the site in a bid to allay fears campaigners have.
Charlie Young, senior project engineer for Kinetica Solar, said: "In addition to the power the site will generate and the environmental benefits of the project, Kinetica will be setting aside funds for the Parish Council to put towards schemes that will directly benefit the local community."
