A “HAUNTED” pub is going under the hammer for the second time in six months.
The Old Courthouse Inn, in Harwich Road, Great Bromley, is known to have ghostly links.
It was the courthouse at the time of the notorious witch trials in the 17th century and is just up the road from Witchfinder General Matthew Hopkins’ former home in Manningtree.
Graham Penny Auctions are advertising with a guide price from £230,000 upwards, when it is auctioned in Derby on Thursday.
The accommodation includes the bar, lounge and games area as well a 68 cover restaurant, toilets, trade kitchen and beer cellar.
There are 10 letting rooms and a separate manager's cottage.
