AN initiative to help vulnerable elderly residents and families will be launched in Mistley.
Tendring’s citizens advice bureau is teaming up with the police, fire service and Essex Cares to provide home health checks.
Teams will be knocking on doors in the Stourview Estate on May 2 and offering advice and help.
Diane Boyd, Tendring's Community Builder who is based at the CAB, said: “Basically we are going round to the community to see if we can help them."
