Young farmers hope charity song will be a hit
YOUNG farmers across north Essex are bidding for chart success after releasing a fundraising single.
Essex Young Farmers, a youth organisation for people aged 16 to 26, hope their song Put That Hoedown will be able to challenge hit musicians for a spot in the UK Top 40.
Charlotte Crust, chairman and secretary of the Wix Young Farmers Association, was a member of the committee behind the song and also sang in the chorus.
She said: “Recording the single was absolutely amazing and one of the most memorable days."
