KIDS got involved in a day of messy play to celebrate Easter.
Parents and youngsters from the Barnados children’s centre in Mistley let children and their parents play with cake mix, baked beans, water and jelly last Wednesday at the village hall.
Early years worker Lucy Dines said: “It was a really popular event and everything went really well.
“As well as playing with all the different things the children also made cakes and cards to celebrate Easter.
“Messy play helps the children explore new activities and interact with different textures they do not usually feel so there are lots of sensory benefits."
