A SPECTACULAR light show and tour launched an ambitious art scheme in Harwich.
The Journeyer project began with a demonstration entitled Guiding Lights where projections were made onto High Lighthouse on Friday.
The joint venture between Essex County Council and artists Glassball has seen a number of permanent and temporary artworks installed to try and boost tourism.
A smartphone app has also been released including artwork locations, videos and poems to help visitors navigate through the town.
“The launch was very successful and well attended so we could explain to people what we are doing and trying to show off Harwich as a cultural and heritage destination,” said artist Cora Glasser.
The app is available to download on Apple or Android devices.
