FIREFIGHTERS tackled what is thought to be a deliberate blaze at a disused factory last night.
Crews were called to the building on Main Road in Upper Dovercourt after being told that smoke was pouring from the roof shortly before 8pm on Tuesday.
Officers wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish the fire and the first floor was heavily smoke logged.
The incident was dealt with by 8.50pm.
