CONCERNED residents have set up a Facebook page calling for action at a dilapidated listed building, which they fear is close to collapse.
Owners of Pound Farm House in Main Road, Dovercourt, were granted planning permission for 30 new homes, which is then set to fund repairs to the 17th century former farm house.
But the rundown Grade II listed building continues to be a concern for nearby residents despite calls for action over a number of years.
Sarah Mallinson, of Ramsey, said: “At the moment it is sagging very badly."
Tendring Council's planning boss Carlo Guglielmi, said regular checks had been made on the building and, despite it looking like an “eyesore”, it was not falling down.
