A COUPLE will be getting on their bikes to ride 110 miles for a charity set up in memory of a baby and father who died just days apart.

Claire and Stephen Bish, of Deepdale Road, Dovercourt, will be riding with 170 others from Miskin in South Wales to Taunton in Somerset for 2 Wish Upon A Star.

The charity was set up by their friend Rhian Burke after the deaths of her son George and husband Paul just days apart in 2012.

The bike ride, called Wickets and Wheels, take place on May 30 and 31.

Claire, 27, said: “We have been doing quite a lot of training for it and I think we are nearly ready for it but I don’t know if our head’s are."
