TOURISM bosses want to bring back the Women’s Tour back to Tendring next year.
The prestigious cycling race saw Clacton host the finish of stage three of the race on Friday, and Harwich the start of the fifth and final stage on Sunday.
Tendring Council said all the stops would be pulled out to bring the Women’s Tour back to the district next year.
Council leader Mick Page said: “It is simply a no-brainer to do all that we can to bring the tour back next year and we will be talking to the organisers as soon as possible to get negotiations under way.”
