Fears A120 roundabout could still be years away
CAMPAIGNERS fear residents are being misled over a roundabout at an accident blackspot amid fears funding could still be years away.
Earlier this month the Standard revealed the long awaited roundabout on the A120 could be built as early as 2015.
Phil Armstrong, who has been calling for the improvements, was told in a letter funding for a roundabout may still take years to be found.
He said: “It could be years before the funding could become available when in the Standard the spokesman said it could go ahead as early as 2015."
Highways Agency spokesman said: "The end date for this scheme will be confirmed once the proposals are finalised and will be announced in due course."
