STUDENTS put on a spectacular hair show to show off their platting, cutting and coiffuring skills.
Pupils from Harwich and Dovercourt High School roped in friends and family to become models as they presented hairdos themed on Love, Vogue, Sky High and the 1920s in front of a packed audience.
As well as being an assessment for their Vocational Related Qualification, Katie Floyd was named overall best in show for her Sky High design which depicted a three tier wedding cake with flowers cascading down.
Hair and beauty lead teacher Jo Gardiner said: “The students began preparing their models five hours before the show started so there was a lot of blood, sweat and tears which went into it."
