A MEMORIAL charity ball has raised more than £2,000 for the UK’s Brain Tumour Charity.
Trudy Rainbird organised the fundraising event at the Cliff Hotel, in Dovercourt, in honour of her brother, Steven Bright, who lost his fight with cancer three years ago.
“We wanted to support the Brain Tumour Charity, which isn’t a well-funded charity," she said.
The event, on May 10, saw more than 130 people attend a disco with live bands, and raised £2,320.
