A NEW bid to convert a disused pub into three homes has been given the green light.
B B Builders has been given permission by Tendring Council to convert the Wagon, in New Road, Mistley, into one detached house and build two further homes.
The planning decision said: “The site appears largely derelict and the development will give the site a long-term future which will protect the heritage assets being affected adversely by its unused condition."
The developers previously lost an appeal to turn the former pub into two homes with two semi-detached homes in the beer garden.
