MARK Sharpe and John Fidgett have been confirmed as the new joint-managers of Harwich and Parkeston.
The pair are taking the reins from Matt Carmichael, who stepped down at the end of the last Essex and Suffolk Border League season.
Sharpe was first-team coach last season while Fidgett was in charge of the Shrimpers’ reserves.
The appointment was made on Tuesday.
And Harwich chairman Tony Armstrong believes the duo will do a great job.
“It’s an internal appointment and both know the club inside out,” said the club stalwart.
“That means they’ll bring continuity and they also have different strengths, which I’m confident will make them a good double act."
