A VILLAGE war memorial has been restored to mark the commemoration of the First World War.
The project to restore the memorial in Little Bromley was a joint initiative undertaken by the parish council and Village Amenities Group.
Four members of the Village Amenities Group – Ken Hatch, Brian Conner, Robert Barrett and Adrian Ludlow – gave up their free time to complete the work.
In total more than 100 hours of free time was given up and the plants for the flower beds around the memorial were donated by Deanes Nursery, Hearts Delight, Craft Nurseries and Blenheim Garden Centre.
Chairman of Little Bromley Amenities Group, Anita Spall, said: “Lots of positive comments have been received from drivers and passersby throughout the week so we are very pleased with the end result.”
