CYCLISTS are wanted to perform in the opening of this year’s Harwich Festival of the Arts.
Mauricio Kagel’s Eine Brise’s theatre work for 111 cyclists will be performed with riders roaming around town, ringing their bells and hooting their horns at intervals from 6.30pm on Wednesday June 25 starting at Harwich Green.
A piper and a drummer will then be playing Gregory Rose’s Heaven Haven Procession and ending up at Outpart Eastward Beach where the first world premiere of the festival will take place.
