A NEW paint job, shutters and wooden cladding has boosted a visitor attraction ready for the tourist season.

The Harwich Society Maritime Museum has undergone a spruce-up, which has seen the entire 45 feet tall Low Lighthouse painted black and white.

All this has been achieved by new curator David Horn with his crew of Alex Thomson, Clare Cassels, Rose Rosier, Andy Fidgett and Martin Wakeley.
