VITAL lights on a roundabout have been out of action for seven months.
Lawford Parish councillor, Lesley Pallett, said she is furious at the lack of communication and failure to fix the lights on the Station Road roundabout despite numerous requests.
At Monday's parish council meeting she said the problem had been reported to Essex County Council highways every month since they went out.
"We first reported it in November, that's seven months they have been out," she said.
"It's absolutely outrageous, it's the most important junction in the village."
An Essex Highways spokesperson said they were aware of the defects and an engineer would be sent to assess the lights.
