PLANS to turn a secondhand shop into a new wine bar in Dovercourt have been given the go ahead.
Tendring Council’s planning committee granted Sonya McCready retrospective permission for the bar at 158 High Street.
The decision had been deferred from the last committee meeting so a discussion can be held between Mrs McCready and planning officers.
Sonya’s husband Mike, said: “At long last we have got permission. We hope by next week we will be open."
