A MOTHER has hit out after a late and overcrowded bus service has yet to improve more than six months after she first complained.
In December Elena Klenova told the Standard about the poor 103 service, saying it was often late and single-deckers were put on at busy times.
Her 14-year-old son, Michael, catches the 103 bus, run by First, from Wrabness to Manningtree High School.
She said:” Unfortunately, there is not a lot of good news.
“The bus company improved the service for a little while, but then it all went back to how it was when I complained."
A First spokesman said: “We are aware of the issues experienced on our 103 service by customers recently and are putting operations in place that we're confident will relieve the problems.
“From Sunday June 29, there will be a revised timetable and extra bus operating on the 103/104 route. By doing this, we will be able to provide a more reliable and efficient service for customers."
