A TIME capsule set to be reopened in 100 years has been marked by a special plaque.
To commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee last year villagers in Wix buried the time capsule.
It contained drawings of the Queen by Wix and Wrabness primary school pupils, photographs of the village and details of its history, as well as other memorabilia.
The plaque which will mark where the capsule is buried on the recreational field has been made out of granite by the Hunnaball Family Funeral Group.
To celebrate the official laying of the plaque parish chairman John Matthews, councillor Sue Lusher and children from the school joined members of the Hunnaball group on Monday.
