VOTERS are heading to the polls today to elect a councillor for the vacant seat for the Manningtree, Mistley, Little Bentley and Tendring Ward on Tendring Council .
The four candidates are Mark Robert Cole for the UK Independence Party (UKIP), Alan David Coley for the Conservative Party, Jo Richardson for the Labour Party and Rosemary Susan Smith for the Liberal Democrats.
There are five designated polling stations for this Ward, each of which will be open until 10pm.
The seat is vacant following the death of Sarah Candy in April.
