MEMORIAL matches have been played to remember a trio of lost youngsters.
The first of the two matches was played in memory of Kirstie Seaman who died in a road crash in 2009 and Joe Guglielmi who died in 2010 after a battle with a rare brain disease called neurofibromatosis.
The Kirstie and Joe Memorial Shield was won by the Colchester United Supporters Association who beat Bradfield Rovers XI 8-0.
A second match was played in memory of Kyle Martin who died aged 21 after a tragic road accident.
He had been a player for Bradfield at the time of his death.
In the match the Kyle Martin Memorial Cup was won by the Bradfield 1st Team who beat the Bradfield Old Team 4-3.
Bradfield Rovers committee member Anna Merry said: “We had really good support and a beautiful sunny day."
