THE future of some of Manningtree’s star attractions is in doubt after the town’s business chamber was plunged into crisis.
Manningtree Business Chamber has been the force behind numerous successful events in the town, including the Christmas market and Easter celebrations.
The chamber also took over the running of the market last year after being awarded the lease by site owners Tendring Council.
But it was revealed this week that chairman Jenine Collier has resigned from her position.
It is thought thevice-chair, treasurer and secretary have also stepped down, leaving the chamber leaderless until its next meeting.
