A SECOND defibrillator has been handed over by a company planning to put a device in every school in Harwich.
EPC UK, based at Bramble Island, has handed over the life saving device to Chase Lane Primary School in Dovercourt.
The company, which stores and disposes of explosives, raised money for the charity Hand on Heart, which aims to prevent sudden cardiac arrest among youngsters.
The first defibrillator was handed over to All Saints Primary in Great Oakley in March.
Darrell Howard, director at EPC, said: “It is now the second defibrillator we have handed over and our intention remains to try and get one to all the schools in the area."
