DESPITE Harwich Festival of the Arts drawing to a close there is still an array of shows to visit and explore.

Vocal fusion group Yantra combine folk and religious music from Bulgaria, India and England and will be performing live against a backdrop of previously recorded vocal parts to create a truly unique concert at St Nicholas Church tonight at 7.30pm.

The talents of youngsters in the town will be on show on Saturday with The Big Celebration of Young Harwich at the Redoubt Fort from 2.30pm until 9.30pm.

The final concert sees 12 days culminate three glorious pieces of music by Wangner, Bartok and Orff being conducted by Patrick McCarthy along with performances by school and amateur choirs.

St Nicholas church will be transformed by atmospheric light shows to bring the curtain down on an incredible festival.
