THIS year’s Harwich Sea Festival will once again feature a spectacular training event for an incredible life saving chopper.
The majestic Sea King helicopter is set to makes another appearance at the event which will be held on Sunday July 27 between 11am and 5pm on Harwich Quay with visitors able to park on St Helena Green free of charge.
The event is jointly organised by the Harwich and Dovercourt Rotary Club, Harwich RNLI and the Harwich Harbour Board.
Rotarian Neil McCrone believes people should flock to the event for the amazing spectacle where a mock rescue is carried out.
“It is an absolutely wonderful sight,” he said.
“The crew do a flypast and swoop down to the crowd and there will be thousands of people cheering it on."
