POLICE are appealing for information after a burglar disturbed house occupants while they slept.

An intruder gained entry to a home in Briardale Avenue, Dovercourt just after midnight on Thursday.

After disturbing the people upstairs, he left empty handed.

The burglar is described as white, 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build and was wearing dark clothing.
